WINTER

Sugarloaf has plenty of winter activities to keep you busy until the last snowflake falls. Get ready for downhill skiing, a terrain park, sliding hill, ice skating and trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking and winter hiking.

Sugarloaf Provincial Park Ski Hill offers 13 downhill ski trails ranging from beginner to expert, a snowboard terrain park and on-site rentals and ski school. Skis (downhill and cross-country), snowboards, snowskates, snowshoes, fat bikes and other equipment are available for rent on site.

If you’re a camper, there’s no need to hang up your camping gear just yet! Enjoy the park camping experience all year round, even in winter ($10 nightly fee; reservations required).

For cross country ski enthusiasts, Sugarloaf is also home to Les Montagnards Cross Country Ski Club, which has several groomed trails and a full schedule of fun activities.

For more details on winter activities and events at the park, check out the Montagnards Outdoors Club’s website.
